2020–2026 Tesla Model Y Accessories That Fit
Glass roof with fixed points: only Model Y-specific fixed-point crossbar kits fit, and Tesla rates its own rack at 165 lb. The Tesla Tow Package adds a 2 in receiver (Tesla prints no hitch class): 3,500 lb for 5-seat and Performance cars, less on 6- and 7-seat cars depending on wheels and occupied seats. Tesla owner manual says not to install an accessory carrier on a Model Y without the tow package. The 2025 Juniper refresh, the Standard (October 2025) and the six-seat Model Y L (US, July 2026) change some fitments.

Trailer Hitches
Model Y hitch facts: 2 in receiver with the Tesla Tow Package (Tesla prints no hitch class), factory max tow 3,500 lb. Tesla prints no hitch class; Class 3 is the aftermarket makers label. The Tesla owner manual says not to install an accessory carrier on a Model Y that is not equipped with the Tesla tow package, so ask Tesla before fitting an aftermarket hitch. An aftermarket hitch never raises the vehicle rating.
