- RamBox = separate SKU. A standard-bed cover will not seal on a RamBox truck and vice-versa.
- Ram 1500 Classic (DS) was sold alongside the DT through 2024 — it has the older bed and different covers. Check the tailgate badge: DT has the 'RAM' letters across the gate.
- Multifunction (split) tailgate works with roll-ups and most tri-folds; a few hard covers need a spacer kit.
- TRX / RHO use the 5'7" bed and standard covers.
FAQ
How do I know if my Ram has RamBox?
Lockable storage bins built into the bed sides above the wheel wells. If you have them, buy RamBox-specific covers only.
Does a 5'7" DT cover fit the Ram 1500 Classic?
No. The Classic uses the 2009–2018 bed; buy DS-specific covers.
Is the multifunction tailgate a problem?
